We were delighted to be invited by Euromoney Plc to contribute to their Teach First legal work experience programme last week, which enabled students from diverse backgrounds interested in a legal career the opportunity of one week’s virtual work experience with their in-house legal team.

It is amazing to support initiatives like this in order to help break down any barriers to law and unlock diverse talent. Two of our lawyers, Tammy Evans and Lauren O’Sullivan, assisted with the initiative by delivering interactive talks to the work experience students on “Life in a Law Firm” and “Property Law in Practice”.
Lauren said ”It was great to assist Euromoney with this valuable initiative – the students were so engaged and it was a total pleasure to share insights with them about property law and my path into law. Credit to the students for getting involved and embracing the opportunity, which will hopefully help to stand them in good stead for the journey ahead. I’d have certainly loved something like this at the start of my legal journey and it’s awesome to see such opportunities which help to bridge gaps in accessing the legal career path.”
We look forward to continuing to support budding lawyers from all walks of life.
