Our commitment to sustainability
Leaving the world in a better place for future generations is one of our core goals. In 2024, we became one of just 20 UK law firms to achieve B Corp certification, underscoring our dedication to sustainability and ethical business practices.
Annually we support different charities and this year we are proud to partner with the Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, helping to empower people living with sight loss. Their mission to provide life-changing support and independence strongly resonates with our team, clients, and wider vision of building inclusive communities. In previous years, we have worked closely with Trees for Cities, Action for Conservation, and TBC.
We’ve implemented policies to encourage environmentally conscious practices in how we work, whether that’s in the office or in our virtual home office setups.
- Supporting Green Offices: We provide resources and guidance to help our team make sustainable choices in their home offices. From recycling and energy efficiency to choosing environmentally preferred products and vendors, we aim to make it easy to integrate sustainability into daily work.
- Safe Disposal Practices: A clear policy is in place for the safe disposal of e-waste and other hazardous materials, ensuring that electronic waste is handled responsibly.
- Environmentally Preferred Vendors: We encourage our employees to use environmentally-friendly vendors for office supplies and other essentials.
As part of our partnership with TreeNation, we are proud to take our sustainability efforts even further. Through TreeNation’s innovative system, we’re able to offset the carbon emissions generated by our website. By tracking usage and calculating the associated emissions, the system plants the necessary number of trees to balance our website’s carbon footprint. This initiative is just one of the many ways we’re actively working to leave the planet in a better place for future generations.

That’s why we established an Ethics Committee, bringing together diverse voices at a junior and a senior level from across the firm to guide our efforts.
