Ignition Law is delighted to welcome Neil Jennings as a Senior Consultant in the firm’s Commercial Team.
Neil joins Ignition with extensive experience advising startups, scaleups and international businesses on a broad range of technology, commercial and data protection matters. Having trained and qualified at a leading London law firm before moving into several in-house legal roles, he has developed a practical, commercially focused approach to supporting growing businesses.
His expertise spans commercial contracts, SaaS and technology agreements, data protection compliance, international data transfers and technology-related regulatory matters. Neil has advised on a range of significant projects, including leading the buy-side legal work on a $1.5 million asset purchase transaction, leading the sell-side data protection due diligence on a $150 million business sale, and advising a rapidly growing health technology business on its UK market entry strategy and data protection compliance requirements.
Alongside his legal career, Neil also co-founded an HR technology startup, giving him first-hand experience of the opportunities and challenges faced by founders and scaling businesses.
