

We are thrilled to announce that Ignition Law has been shortlisted for The Lawyer Awards 2025 in the category of Best Talent Management, a real honour and a reflection of the commitment and care that we’ve put into supporting our people.
Originally submitted under the Diversity, Inclusion and Talent Management category, our entry was recognised for its holistic approach to building a truly inclusive and empowering workplace. This shortlisting celebrates the incredible energy, collaboration, and determination shown by our team over the past year as we transformed how we recruit, retain, and support talent across the business.
In 2023, we launched a firmwide initiative to reshape our hiring practices and broaden access to careers in law. We closely analysed our workforce data and used it to drive real, targeted change, introducing blind recruitment, revising our job specs to promote inclusion, forging partnerships with minority-focused networks, and revamping our work experience programme to create opportunities for those who have traditionally been underrepresented in the sector.
As part of this wider cultural shift, we were also proud to achieve B Corp accreditation in 2024, a significant milestone that tested and affirmed our commitment to inclusivity, ethics, and positive social impact. Internally, we took a fresh look at performance management, lowering billable targets and prioritising flexibility and well-being, values that are at the heart of who we are as a business.
The results have been inspiring: a more diverse team, improved retention, and a marked boost in staff satisfaction around inclusivity and belonging. Our clients have noticed too, with many drawn to our values-led approach and ethical credentials.
