We are delighted to share that Alex McPherson, Founder of Ignition Law, has been shortlisted for the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards in the category of Services Entrepreneur of the Year (London), a fantastic achievement and recognition of the business, leadership and community that have been built over the years.
With more than 5,000 entries submitted this year, reaching the shortlist is a significant accomplishment and places Alex among some of the UK’s most ambitious and successful entrepreneurs.
Since founding Ignition Law, Alex has built the firm around a simple but powerful principle: relationships matter. Whether with clients, colleagues, consultants or the wider entrepreneurial community, his focus on bringing people together, creating opportunities and fostering meaningful connections has been central to the firm’s growth and success.
This recognition reflects not only Alex’s vision and entrepreneurial spirit, but also the incredible team that has helped shape Ignition into the business it is today. Their commitment, collaboration and shared values continue to drive the firm forward and create a culture that is both ambitious and supportive.
Being shortlisted for Services Entrepreneur of the Year is a proud moment for everyone at Ignition and a testament to what can be achieved when great people come together with a shared purpose.
The next stage of the awards takes place on 16 November and we will be keeping our fingers crossed.
Congratulations, Alex, on this well-deserved recognition.
