It’s great to be part of taking a business forward. There are always challenges, but you know that your efforts count for something and there is nothing like breaking new ground together. Fundamentally, I think most of us are looking to do something worthwhile and to do it with people we like.
It’s not the big names that get me so excited. It is the vast number of people who have the courage to set up their own businesses, take the risk and back themselves to succeed.
I am a big reader and have just reread The Kindly Ones by Jonathan Littell. An outstanding book, but at 1000 pages, lockdown was the right time to read it.
