Jade is a commercial litigation lawyer who advises on a broad range of dispute resolution across all sectors, including commercial contract disputes, shareholder and director disputes, injunctive work, judicial review claims, and Equality Act claims.  Jade’s experience has been gained in private practice at Pinsent Masons, including an in-house secondment to a global speciality insurer in London advising on a diverse portfolio of professional indemnity claims.  Jade has represented clients in the High Court and County Court and has experience successfully settling claims through mediations.

Relevant experience includes:

  • Acted for an aviation client defending a High Court breach of contract claim.

  • Represented a leading UK university in a high-profile mass action claim involving thousands of students seeking compensation for changes to teaching delivery and access to facilities caused by Covid-19 and industrial action. 

  • Provided on-going support to one of the top-5 US banks in respect of contractual disputes with its clients.

  • Advised a €1 billion+ renewable energy company of potential warranty and indemnity claims and remedies under an SPA.

  • Acted on a High Court restrictive covenant injunction for a financial services company.

  • Acted for a tech company in a High Court claim involving misuse of confidential information, IP infringement, and unlawful solicitation.

  • Successfully defended a public body against a judicial review claim. 

  • Provided litigation due diligence support on M&A transactions.

A Social Cause I Care About

I am passionate about international development and children’s welfare, specifically focusing on initiatives that provide education and healthcare to vulnerable children globally. I previously climbed Mount Kilimanjaro to raise funds for this cause.

Other Interests

I am a keen runner and recently completed the Leeds Marathon. I also love hiking and travelling and have recently spent two months in Asia. In the winter months, you’ll usually find me skiing. I also enjoy learning Spanish and I am currently level B1.
