Trained at Travers Smith, where I qualified into Corporate and specialised in Private Equity and private company acquisitions and sales, working on a number of high profile deals and household-name transactions.
Legal Roles
- After Travers Smith, I became General Counsel at LK Bennett where I remained for 6 years, running a broad commercial practice to include international distribution, IP management, licensing, talent agreements and IT contracts;
- I then assisted in founding a fashion start-up, providing legal advice to include all commercial contracts, logistics and supply chain, HR, IP disputes, corporate governance and equity arrangements, as well as providing general commercial assistance and business management through both Brexit and Covid;
- Assisting in the establishment and management of a design agency, to include consultancy negotiations with large international clients;
- I have most recently advised on an IP sale with deferred consideration, an agreement with a South African distributor and a shareholders’ agreement for a fashion start-up.
A Social Cause I am passionate about
Between legal roles I co-founded and ran a motor racing charity (Invictus Games Racing) in partnership with the Invictus Foundation, giving both training and competitive motorracing opportunities to injured ex-service personnel.
