What gets me out of bed in the morning

Using my experience to help people. There are usually very few problems that haven’t been encountered before. If I don’t know the answer, I usually know somebody who can help.

An entrepreneur I admire

Steve Jobs. Now sadly no longer with us. He had his critics and reportedly was not the easiest person to deal with, but he made people believe in Apple and the things it stood for. Without him, Apple wouldn’t be the hugely successful company it is today.

The fine print

  • Key practices: Following a long career as a corporate lawyer, I became the senior partner of London based international law firm Nabarro LLP with responsibility for developing and implementing its strategic direction and representing the firm in the marketplace. While at Nabarro, I also established and was head of the firm’s highly successful Entrepreneurs Group dedicated to providing cost-effective legal services to the entrepreneurial community.
  • Education:University College London (LLB) and College of Law, Lancaster Gate.

I am also a non-executive director, and chair of the remuneration committee, of LMS Capital plc, an investment company listed on the main market of the London Stock Exchange.
