Advising on staff hires/exit strategies. Helping manage dismissal/departure process and linked negotiations and settlements. What gets me out of bed in the morning
Knowing I can contribute to a flexible firm that looks to re-shape traditional working practices. Also, being able to add value to businesses that are often starting from absolute scratch on the HR legal side.
An entrepreneur I admire
Holly Tucker. She founded notonthehighstreet.com from her kitchen table. She persevered through countless rejections for funding. Through her vision and determination, she has enabled 5000 craft businesses to showcase their products through her website. I must also mention my mother-in-law, who together with her sister, designs and sells attractive storage solutions (garden and home). They were picked up by QVC and now present live across the UK and US on their shopping channels.
What would you put on your Ignition Law playlist or bookshelf?
Established but still great; TED Talks Business. Episodes are short in length, with such variation, making it an excellent go-to, even with very little time.
A social cause I care about is….
Ensuring clean drinking water is a global human right. The prevention of human (specifically child) trafficking.
