What gets me out of bed in the morning

The knowledge that I will get to learn something new, create something or be a part of something being done differently. I enjoy new challenges, meeting new people and working as part of a team to make a difference to businesses or people’s lives. Having been a part of a growing start-up business, I can appreciate the challenges faced by clients and focus on adding value.

An entrepreneur I admire

Debbie Wosskow, founder of Love Home Swap (amongst others) and co-founder of The AllBright. As an innovator, not only has she built an enormously successful businesses from scratch, showing inspiring drive and resilience, it is her work supporting and promoting female entrepreneurs and other female founders, helping them to find the skills, network and confidence to realise their ambitions I really admire.

What do you do for your clients at Ignition Law?

I assist the senior lawyers with a variety of matters within corporate, commercial and employment. I perform company secretarial services for a range of companies, including those incorporating through to multi-nationals and assist in maintaining their company registers, assist with funding rounds and deal with the post-completion matters. I also prepare employment contracts and consultancy agreements tailored to a client’s business and update these as the company scales.

What would you put on your Ignition Law playlist or bookshelf?

I’m pretty sure it’s already on the Ignition bookshelf, but Start with Why by Simon Sinek.
