What gets me out of bed in the morning

I’m always excited by new things and how I can help people achieve their goals. I really enjoy trying to understand a business and providing legal advice that is firmly centered on helping clients. I try to bring my experience of working for some big companies to help smaller companies be prepared for some of the commercial challenges that they haven’t encountered yet.

An entrepreneur I admire

Tom Bilyeu founded Quest Nutrition, with the aim of was to ending metabolic disease and show that food can be “good for you and still taste good”. Quest was one of the fastest growing food start ups in the world and now has a valuation of over US$1billion.

After selling Quest Nutrition in 2016, he and his wife, Lisa Bilyeu, have gone on to develop Impact Theory, a for profit organisation which aims to help both individuals develop a mindset for success and mission-based companies. I find their attitude that you can use psychology, commerce and entrepreneurial ideas to improve the world, including through better mental and physical health, really inspiring.
