What gets me out of bed in the morning

The amazing variety of people we get to work with and the excitement of not knowing what the day ahead will hold.

Over the last year, I’ve had the chance to work with some of the smartest and most inspirational people I’ve ever met… and the list keeps growing! Being able to feel like what you do really does add value to a client’s business is hugely rewarding and makes all the hard work worthwhile. I like to think that we are gradually changing the general perception of lawyers – we understand the challenges of being a small business and can be highly commercial and pragmatic in our approach, yet also bring the top-quality advice that our clients expect.

An entrepreneur I admire

There are far too many to pick from, but one that sticks out in my mind is Laura Tenison, founder of JoJo Maman Bebe. I heard Laura speak at an event last year and was truly inspired by her amazing work ethic, together with the emphasis she puts on her family life. She is a great example of how it is possible to juggle a family alongside being a hugely successful businesswoman.
