What gets me out of bed in the morning

Three alarm clocks usually do the trick! No day is the same at Ignition, therefore I look forward to everything my role throws at me, from HR, Compliance to fixing the printer. My favourite part though is taking a first call from a prospective new client and watching their business evolve, that’s a great feeling. I work with a brilliant team who are all friendly and down to earth making coming into work a real pleasure.

An entrepreneur I admire

The entrepreneurs I admire are James Routledge and George Bettany founders of Sanctus, a start up mental health organisation that brings sanctuary spaces to workplaces in London. Sanctus’ main aim is to normalise the concept of psychological fitness and making more people aware of the fact that we all have emotional health to look after, regardless of whether we have a psychological illness or not. Sanctus’ long term goal is to open the first ‘mental health gym’ on Britain’s high street. A wonderful and successful company.

The fine print

  • Education: BSc Open Degree, The Open University, HND Health & Social Care, Barnet College.
  • Work: MOHS - Harley Street, Virgin Atlantic, Tottenham Hotspur Football Club, NHS.
  • Memberships: IOSH (Institution of Occupational Health & Safety), Royal Photographic Society.
  • Other interests: Music and photography have always been my passion therefore I combined the two and became a freelance concert photographer. I am enthusiastic about voluntary work and fundraising. For the past 7 years I have been a Team Leader on Virgin Atlantic’s Flying Without Fear Course and often speak about aviation phobias in the media. I devote any spare time I have to my Kindle.
